These high-quality boot trees for all ankle-high men's boots and ankle boots are made from 100% certified cedar wood and ensure optimal recovery for your worn and stressed RŌSHI boots.

As one of the oldest woods used by humans, cedar wood has many positive properties:

  • Absorbs moisture:
Uncoated cedar absorbs moisture, prevents wrinkles and cracks, and preserves the shape of your shoes. Cedar shoe trees can actually extend the lifespan of your shoes by up to 50%.

  • Natural odor neutralization:
The fresh, timeless scent of cedarwood isn't just ideal for shoes. While cedarwood prevents unpleasant odors in boots, sneakers, and loafers, it also creates a pleasant fragrance throughout your entire closet.

  • Pest repellent:
Aromatic cedarwood keeps pests like moths, carpet beetles, cockroaches and silverfish away and protects your clothes from small holes and unwanted guests.

  • Lifetime durability:
Give your cedar wood a light sanding with medium sandpaper once a year to refresh its aromatic properties and enjoy the benefits of your cedar wood boot trees for a lifetime.

Wear your leather shoes for a maximum of 1 to 2 days at a time, then let them rest by stretching the boot trees inside the shoes for several hours. Place your boots with the boot trees in a dry place. Avoid direct sunlight, in front of a heater, or outside in damp places.

Care tips for leather and woven fabrics

1. Care of smooth leather and nappa leather:

- Use a leather cream or wax regularly to keep the leather supple and protect it from moisture.

- Clean the leather with a damp cloth and let it dry before polishing.

2. Care of suede leather

- Gently brush the leather with a suede brush to remove dirt.

- Use a waterproofing spray to protect it from moisture and stains.

- Since the suede used in RŌSHI is already hydrophobic, it requires less maintenance to remain water-repellent.

3. Care of embossed leather (pebblegrain leather)

- Use leather cream or wax to keep the grain supple and protect it from moisture.

- Gently remove dirt with a brush to preserve the texture.

4. Care of Cordovan leather

- Apply leather grease regularly to maintain flexibility.
- Polish the leather with a soft cloth to maintain its shine.

5. Care of woven fabrics (flannel, loden, jeans, canvas)

- Remove dust and dirt with a soft brush or fabric roller.

- Use waterproofing agents to make the fabrics water-repellent. After gently shaking the spray, spray a discreet layer evenly from a distance of about 20 cm and allow it to absorb. Use a high-quality, brand-name waterproofing spray.

At RŌSHI, sustainability is not a trend, but a fundamental attitude that is deeply rooted in our brand.

Our shoes are handcrafted with the utmost care in a family-run factory in Felgueiras, Portugal. There, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern, responsible methods.

We work exclusively with high-quality, durable materials that not only offer a unique look and comfort, but have also been consciously selected to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

A core aspect of our philosophy is the use of leather that comes from the hides of animals from the meat industry – no animals are bred or killed for our shoes.

Our tanneries, such as Tanneries Haas or Conceria Maryam, rely on sustainable processes and are LWG-certified, which means that the highest standards in leather processing are maintained.

In the BLOG you will find more information about our production methods and all sustainability aspects.
