Sustainability at RŌSHI

At RŌSHI, sustainability is not a trend, but a fundamental attitude that is deeply rooted in our brand.

Regional, fair trade, mutual respect and a conscious approach to our partners, fellow human beings, all living beings and our resources are our most important concerns.

An overview

Our production processes and supply chains are designed to reduce emissions and enable short delivery routes. We focus on regionality, as the materials we use primarily come from partners in Germany and Europe.

By working closely with our partners, we can ensure fair wages and high social standards are maintained. Every shoe tells a story of respect—for the craftsmanship, the environment, and the people involved.

We use both chrome-free tanned leather and professionally chrome-tanned leather, where we take special care to ensure no chromium VI is released. This not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also offers a product that meets the highest quality standards.

Tanneries such as Conceria Opera, Richard Hoffmans and Leder Oehler rely on innovative technologies to drastically reduce water consumption during tanning.

The water used in their processes is almost 100% recycled and returns to nature cleaner than when it was extracted. This ensures that our leather is not only of the highest quality but also respects the environment.

Our commitment doesn't end after purchase. RŌSHI shoes are designed to be repaired and maintained—they're a long-term investment.

From resoling to caring for the leather surface, we give you the right tips to maximize the lifespan of your shoes.

This makes each shoe a companion that will last for many years.

Our promise is clear:
At RŌSHI, we combine exceptional design with a sustainable approach. Every shoe we create is not only an expression of style, but also of responsibility.
